Hello! My name is Katria, and I am the founder and creative behind Flowers By Tia.

My journey into floristry began in 2022 while working as a social media manager for an online florist. I worked closely with the head florist and would often watch her arranging flowers, thinking to myself, I could see myself doing that one day.

Not long after, I enrolled in a short floristry course and completely fell in love with it. From that moment, I knew I wanted to pursue floristry as a career. Life had other plans, and I found myself elsewhere, but the idea never left me and I would constantly think about working with flowers.

I love the connection, conversation and joy that flowers bring and getting to work closely with natural and seasonal materials. 

I love creating designs that feel as though they belong exactly where they are - almost as if the flowers and foliage have simply grown into place. Think overgrown gardens, wildflower meadows and the beautiful, unpredictable movement found in nature.
